Form of workRLE International is working on behalf of their Essex based Automotive Client, who are currently looking for an Electromagnetic Compatibility Systems Engineer to support and join their expanding teamOur client offers a wide range of unique opportunities available to suit some of the best people and brightest minds in the automotive industry.We are positioned to become the most desirable Asian brand in Europe, and we need your help to get there.Position Description:Rate: Negotiable per hour via (Umbrella Company)The Electromagnetic Compatibility Test Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that various vehicles are compliant with EMC requirements and will work closely with product development teams to identify and resolve any EMC-related issues. This is a hybrid position which combines working from home with regular attendance on-site. The role will require the successful candidate to work closely with cross-functional teams to perform tests, develop and validate solutions.Review and approve component level EMC test plans and test reports.We recognise that EMC is a specialised subject, so don't worry if you haven't got all of the essential or preferred skills, if you have a few, we'd still like to hear from you. We will provide on the job training.Key roles and responsibilities include: * Perform vehicle level EMC tests in our development laboratory and support issue resolution. * Write test plans and test reports * Prepare vehicles for test * Review and approve component level EMC test plans and test reportsSkills Required: * Excellent oral and written communications. * EMC or RF testing * Project management * Knowledge of EMC specifications * Formal education in ElectronicsSkills Preferred:Knowledge of automotive EMC testingElectronic circuit designExperience Required:Any EMC related experienceExperience Preferred:Experience in the Automotive industryEMC certificationWhole vehicle type approvalPreparation and approval of EMC test plansFamiliarity with human exposure to electromagnetic fieldsRadio receptionEducation Required:Degree in Electrical Engineering or related disciplineEducation Preferred:Additional qualifications or formal training in EMC or RF communicationsAdditional Information:INSIDE IR35Our client operates a hybrid work pattern (within the UK), the position holder will need to carry out tests in the lab and will regularly travel the office with occasional home working.Long term position for the right candidateThe position is based in Dunton, Essex and we require someone who is willing to commute every day when needed.If you have any of the above knowledge and experience, and are interested in hearing more about the opportunities, please apply now.Eligibility: Due to working on behalf of our Client, unfortunately if you require sponsorship for a visa to work in the UK your application will be automatically declined**NO AGENCY CALLING
