Job description

Are you an expert in Electronic Engineering with a passion for teaching and sharing your knowledge? Do you have a relevant degree and industry experience in this field? If so, you might be the ideal candidate for this exciting opportunity at Barnet College.

Barnet College is looking for an Electronic Engineering Lecturer to teach a range of courses from Level 2 to Level 5. You will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons, assessing and marking the students' work, and providing feedback and guidance. You will also work collaboratively with other staff members and external partners to ensure the curriculum is up to date and meets the needs of the learners and employers.

This is a temporary role, starting as soon as possible and lasting until the end of the academic year. You will be working 3 days a week, depending on the timetable and availability. The pay rate is £33 per hour, plus holiday pay and pension contributions.

To be considered for this role, you must have:

- A degree or equivalent qualification in Electronic Engineering or a related subject- Experience of working in the Electronic Engineering industry or a similar sector- A teaching qualification or willingness to obtain one- A valid DBS check or willingness to obtain one- A strong knowledge and understanding of Electronic Engineering principles and applications- Excellent communication and presentation skills- A commitment to continuous professional development and quality improvement
