SalaryAdecco Northumberland are looking to recruit an electrical assembly operative for their client based in Cramlington. This is a long term ongoing temporary position with options of going permanent for the perfect candidate.
Specific responsibilities:
- Hand assembling the product together ensuring a high quality finished product.
- Filling in and finishes made using equipment and materials supplied.
- Inspecting the product and assembling to meet the high specification.
- Inscribing by hand where needed.
Experience, Skills and Abilities:
- A strong team player with the ability to work effectively as part of a large production team.
- Good communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and external parties where necessary.
- Experience of Hand Assembly with electronics.
- Excellent hand-eye co-ordination and a high level of manual dexterity to competently handle the delicate and intricate parts.
- Use of computers on a daily basis.
- The ability to demonstrate a positive attitude, flexibility, tenacity and willingness for continuous improvement and learning.
- Once fully trained and competent, the ability to train and coach colleagues on specific tasks and processes.
