Role Overview:
As an integral member of our team, you'll be responsible for the repair, maintenance, and optimization of electrical, electronic, and computer-based equipment in alignment with stringent company quality and safety standards. Your expertise will be pivotal in adhering to all regulatory compliance, industry protocols, and upholding our unwavering commitment to health, safety, and environmental sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Expertise:Execute repairs and troubleshoot PLC, electrical, electronic, and computer-based equipment, focusing on cementing pumps, blending units, and laboratory equipment maintenance.
  • Maintenance Support:Collaborate with mechanical technicians, contributing to planned scheduled maintenance, and providing electrical and electronic repairs both onshore and offshore.
  • Diagnostic Proficiency:Perform diagnostic assessments, conduct testing, and resolve electrical and electronic issues, both in workshop environments and during offshore field repairs.
  • Training and Support: Assist in training operational staff and mechanics, offering guidance in troubleshooting electrical and electronic systems.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Qualifications:Minimum HND/HNC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or an equivalent 2-3 year Diploma certificate.
  • Experience:Prior experience in maintenance, particularly with Caterpillar or Detroit Diesel / MTU, Marine, Honeywell, or Aviation electrical and electronic systems is highly advantageous.
  • Travel: Flexibility for ad-hoc offshore travel is required.
  • Added Assets: Proficiency in pneumatic and hydraulic systems is beneficial. A strong aptitude for training in electronic systems and computer-based equipment is desirable.
