Electronic Test Engineer

We are looking for experienced Electronic Test Engineers to contribute to the development and implementation of Electronic Test solutions for cutting edge defence systems. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, performance and quality of electronic systems, contributing to the overall success of British defence projects.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute test plans and procedures for electronic systems in accordance with project requirements and industry standards.
• Design and implement manual test systems to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency.
• Conduct functional and performance testing on electronic components and systems to ensure they meet stringent quality and reliability standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design engineers and project managers, to identify and resolve issues during the testing phase.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose problems in electronic systems and provide timely and effective solutions.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in Electronic Testing technologies and methodologies to continuously improve testing processes.

Qualifications:

• Minimum level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or equivalent proven experience as an Electronic Test Engineer in the defence industry.
• Strong knowledge of Electronic Testing principles, methodologies, and tools.
• Proficiency in using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analysers, and logic analysers.
• Knowledge of automated testing tools and programming languages (e.g., LabVIEW, Python).
