Are you seeking a new and exciting position as a Procurement specialist, if you have been in an electronics manufacturing background and want a dynamic position or have experience as a buyer and want a new environment and responsibilities then this would be a great opportunity to join a recognised manufacturer.

This is a great career for the next stepper or senior to help drive the purchasing/buying activities for a global brand where you will be responsible for building trust, negotiating pricing and securing materials for the production team. Hybrid role 2/3 days in office with longer-term development possibilities.

This company is a globally recognised audio electronics manufacturer bringing well-engineered and innovative products to the music and mass consumer markets to really define the quality of sound and how it should be heard.

The role involves operational purchasing/buying responsibilities, product costing, budgeting and monitoring the supply of electronic component availabilities. You will work on costing projects, sourcing and negotiating pricing whilst maintaining strong relationships. Work on buying strategy and identify weaknesses to implement a robust system. Your contribution will be fundamental to the continuing success of this company allowing you the freedom to bring new ideas to the table and be listened to.

The Role:

* Electronics Buyer, Procurement, Purchasing, Supply chain.

* Monitoring component availability and working with production teams.

* Support existing manufacturing purchasing/buying activities

* Analysis and identifying weaknesses and implement new ways

* Short, Medium and Long term roadmaps

Candidate Requirements:

* Manufacturing, Engineering, Electronics Background

* Buying Experience Desirable

* Strong communication, numeracy and software skills
