Electronics Design Rf

An Electronics Engineer with a RF bias is required for a long term contract assignment based out of Bristol or Stevenage

Overview of department:
The RF Group within the Seeker and Data Link Systems Dept is responsible for a variety of RF work including RCS prediction and measurement, Antennas, RF Testing, Radar System and Radio altimeters.
Skillset/experience required:
* Ideally, degree qualified (or equivalent industry experience) with experience in electronic design, development and delivery; preferably in defence or related industry.
* Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team with the awareness and understanding of the challenges that this may bring.
* Knowledge of a wide range of electronic technologies and products
* Familiar with RF circuits and components across a wide range of frequencies
* Practical skills - soldering, fault finding and RF component level assembly
* Use of RF Laboratory Test Equipment - Spectrum Analysers, VNA's, Power meters
* Ability to use CAD software such as KiCAD or ORCAD
