Electronics Development and Production Engineer
Location: Hampshire
Job Description:
We are seeking an Electronics Development and Production Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will have a key role helping to bring our transformational and innovate wearable electronics products to market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support electronics engineering, design transfer NPI activities and provide ongoing product lifecycle electronics support.
- Management of electronic CAD/production data within the company.
- Work closely with design agencies and manufacturing partners to bring products to market and ensure high quality production.
- Develop production test processes for new product assembly where required.
- Support product validation and verification testing, including electronics assembly/test and Production processes.
- Building up, electronics testing and inspection capabilities within the company.
Qualifications and Skills:
- A degree in electronics engineering or a minimum of 3 years working in an electronics design/production/assembly role in the medical industry, or other highly regulated industry.
- Experience of electronics production best practice and standards.
- Experience in medical device design standards and regulations is desirable.
- Proficient in the use of electronics test equipment with excellent, inspection and fault-finding skills.
- Experience working to standards, relating to electronics design, production and testing including EMC.
- Excellent collaborative and communication skills.
- Quality-focused mindset.
- Experience with Altium CAD, and PCB electronics assembly and Production methods.
- Experience with design change control processes operating preferably within an ISO13485 quality Management System.
