Position Overview: As an Electronics Engineer, you will be at the forefront of innovation, working on challenging projects that demand precision, reliability, and security. Your expertise in electronic systems design and integration will play a pivotal role in strengthening the nation's defence capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Electronic Systems Design: Develop and design electronic systems, ensuring compliance with defence specifications and standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electronics into larger defence systems. Hardware Development: Design, prototype, and test electronic hardware components. Work on PCB layouts, ensuring optimal performance and manufacturability. Testing and Validation: Conduct rigorous testing and validation of electronic systems to ensure functionality, reliability, and security. Troubleshoot and resolve issues during the testing phase. Documentation: Prepare detailed technical documentation, including schematics, design specifications, and test reports. Maintain accurate records of hardware configurations and revisions. Collaboration: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including software engineers, systems engineers, and project managers. Provide technical guidance and expertise throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in electronics design and development, preferably within the defence industry.
- Strong knowledge of electronic hardware design principles and practices.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to defence electronics.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with FPGA programming and embedded systems.
- Knowledge of RF and microwave electronics.
- Familiarity with design tools such as Altium or Cadence.
- Understanding of environmental and reliability testing for defence applications.
