Salary Electronics Technician required. Our client is a well-established manufacturer of electronic instrumentation based in the Basildon area. They are seeking an experienced Electronics Technician to join the team.
Electronics Technician Position Overview
Produce electronic parts and sub-assemblies including PCB Assembly requiring soldering and crimping to IPC standards
Testing of sub-assemblies and parts using electronic test equipment such as scopes and multi-meters
Final assembly of systems
Creating new and updating existing build instructions to latest specification
Perform calibration, final test and documentation and packing of new and returned products.
Repair of electronic systems to component level
Use drawings, schematics, electronic assembly equipment and verbal/written instructions to assemble, repair, modify, rework or re-assemble units.
Electronics Technician Position Requirements
Surface mount soldering with a knowledge of analogue and digital circuits
Fault-finding to component level of electronic products
Crimping and soldering methods to IPC standards
HND, HNC, BTEC or similar in an Electronic field of study
Based in a commutable distance of Basildon
Experience with PCB fault diagnosis techniques
Electronics Technician Position Remuneration
£24,000 - £28,000 depending on experience
Monday to Friday, 37.5-hour week. Flexible hours between 08:00 - 18:00.
