Company Overview: Located in the midlands, this prestigious design consultancy, specialising in embedded systems and electronic solutions are ever growing. As they continue to grow, I am seeking an ambitious Electronics technician to support exciting projects from a growing list of household names.

Position Overview: I am looking for an Electronics Technician with a desire to grow their skill-set and eventually evolve into an Electronics Engineer. As the projects come in and the work increases, an extra pair of hands to work closely with, and support the design team with PCB assembly, soldering and testing is becoming more necessary. This is somewhat give and take opportunity, you have a chance to make a difference in an award winning design team while learning as much as you can from them.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble and test PCBs according to engineering specifications.
• Conduct functional testing and troubleshoot electronic components and systems.
• Perform soldering and board rework as needed.
• Collaborate with the design team to understand project requirements and contribute to continuous process improvement.
• Learn and develop skills to progress into an engineering role.

Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with PCB assembly, soldering, and testing.
• Basic understanding of electronics and electrical circuits.
• Eagerness to learn and grow into an engineering role.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Desired Skills:

• A bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or similar would put you at an advantage.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or electronics engineering environment.
• Enthusiasm for continuous learning and skill development.
