Test and Validation Engineer Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic Test and Validation Engineer to be an integral part of our Research and Development team. Your role involves collaborating closely with senior team members in an Agile framework, contributing to groundbreaking projects that demand resilience in challenging conditions.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong computer literacy.
- Hands-on experience in soldering, wiring, and utilising various test equipment.
- Background in a regulated industry (without specifying).
- Familiarity with industry standards, ensuring product compliance.
- Exposure to Agile environments, with proficiency in tools like JIRA and Xray.
- Understanding of electronics, schematic interpretation, and circuit layout.
- Appreciation for embedded C, mechanical CAD/CAM, and volume manufacturing.
- Confidence in using collaborative tools such as Teams, Confluence, and Slack.
- Knowledge of version control systems and experience with embedded Linux/Python (without specifying).
Responsibilities:
- Conduct rigorous product testing and audits to maintain high standards.
- Provide technical support to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with approval bodies as necessary to resolve technical issues.
- Perform in-depth analyses on faulty products, documenting findings.
- Contribute to the development of test plans for new products and firmware.
