Electrophysiologist

CK Clinical are recruiting for an Electrophysiologist to join an innovative biotech with a strong pipeline of preclinical and clinical candidates. The role will be fully based at their Hertfordshire laboratories.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
As Electrophysiologist you will join a newly established preclinical R&D group focused on the discovery and development of novel ion channel therapeutics.
Key duties will include:

• Planning, execution and analysis of electrophysiology focused experiments to drive drug discovery and new target validation
• Giving scientific presentations at internal and external meetings, including conferences and to partner companies

QUALIFICATIONS:
As Electrophysiologist you will require:

• A relevant PhD will be preferred
• Experience with in-vitro patch clamp recordings
• A strong understanding of ion channels, neuroscience and the principals of electrophysiology and pharmacology

BENEFITS:
A base salary of around £35,000 plus a good benefits package
