Job Introduction

  • Lytham St Anne's, Lancashire - please note this role will require 2-3 days in the office
  • Permanent 37.5 hours per week Monday - Friday
  • Salary: £25,000 – £28,000 per annum + excellent benefits

As the successful candidate you will work closely with the CRM team, designing and developing innovative email templates to help drive successful CRM campaigns; including customer journeys and automated communications. You’ll be the kind of person who thrives in a fast-paced environment like ours.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Designing engaging, high performing emails to an exceptionally high standard - from concept to signed off layouts on deadline and on brand.
  • Working on regular email newsletters, tactical direct response campaigns and automated journey-led communications.
  • Ensuring emails are designed and built with best practice in mind, that they follow our brand guidelines, are responsive and they render correctly across most used devices.
  • Designing and building emails via our Bloomreach platform.
  • Collaborating with the wider CRM team every day, brainstorming new ways to engage our database and drive traffic to site and stores, informed by customer, business, and trend insight. You’ll also be supporting them with test and learn strategies.
  • Working closely with our content team inspiring and align with our onsite content calendar.
  • Keeping abreast of any new developments from wider retail/email marketing will be important to inform continuous development and improvement of our email campaigns.
  • Involved in wider CRM projects, meetings and planning as relevant

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

  • At least 2 years previous email design experience 
  • Proficiency in industry standard design software, including: Adobe Creative Cloud Apps (Photoshop, InDesign etc).
  • Experience using drag and drop email building software.
  • Knowledge of HTML and CSS for email creation.
  • Be a strong designer with passion and enthusiasm.
  • Be driven by performance and results.
  • Interest in the luxury jewellery industry.
  • Have a keen eye for detail and knowledge of render testing platforms such as Litmus, Email on Acid and GlockApps etc.
  • Have a strong understanding of the limitations when it comes to building an email template also, hacks and solutions to overcome them.
  • Take ownership of the work.
  • Have experience using a CRM or email marketing platform.
  • Understand interactive and dynamic components within email ensuring they are commercial and generate a direct response.
  • Adaptable, responsive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

DESIRABLE SKILLS

  • Previous experience in a CRM or marketing department and/or luxury jewellery retailer.
  • Previous experience using Bloomreach
