Submission Technology is a well-established, innovative Digital Marketing company based in Turkey Mill, Maidstone.
Over the last 20 years, we have grown from a small, family-run business to a thriving company with a successful portfolio of DTC brands and consumer websites, employing over 40 members of staff.
We are looking for an Email Marketing Executive to join our comms team of 3. This is a dynamic, creative, fast-paced and analytical role for an ambitious candidate.
Main purpose and scope of the role:
You will be working on comms across a variety of our consumer team sites, driving performance, working to targets and helping to look after the health of our email & comms programmes. You will be a creative team player, have Email Marketing experience, be a problem solver and always be up for a challenge. You’ll be joining a team who have over 15 years of combined email experience, in a changing industry, you’ll help us hunt our next big wins.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Work with product managers and media buyers to support our overall company goals
- Maintain & monitor the health of our email, push and SMS activities using our own and 3rd party tools, including Google Postmaster
- Design and develop email & comms streams for multiple sites
- Manage and create content for newsletters and automation
- Increase key metrics in line with our KPIs, by optimising content and running split tests
- Maintain and enforce email, push and SMS best practices
- Plan and implement user journey lifecycle workflows
- Implement segmentation strategies and traffic source analysis
- Have an awareness of competitors and research their behaviours whilst maintaining knowledge of industry trends and changes.
- Communicate test results to relevant stakeholders, and share wins with other members of the team
- Enforce GDPR best practices across all UK sites
