Embedded Engineer

​Firmware/Embedded Engineer – Hybrid Aberdeen OR Edinburgh – Up to 60k DOE

I am working with a technology company based in Aberdeen, who design and manufacture electronics equipment. Due to their continued success, they are looking to add a Embedded Engineer to their team.

Ideally the candidate will be based in their Aberdeen office but they are open to seeing candidates who are able to commute to their Edinburgh office too.

Responsibilities

Design, develop and test firmware
Be responsible for the full SDLC
Support the research and development of products

Requirements

-Strong proficiency in embedded C on 8/16 bit microcontrollers
- Good understanding of digital or analogue electronics
-BSc with a 2:1 or higher in STEM subject is preferred
