Job Title: Embedded Engineer

Location: East Hampshire

Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum

Are you a skilled Embedded Engineer looking for an exciting opportunity in the field of research and development? We are currently seeking a talented individual to join our dynamic team in East Hampshire. As an Embedded Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and testing embedded systems for a range of innovative projects.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement embedded software and hardware solutions, including microcontroller software and circuit design.
• Write well-structured code and conduct thorough unit testing to ensure the reliability and performance of the embedded systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and integrate embedded systems into larger products.
• Support the development of analog and digital electronics design, including schematic and PCB design using CADStar.
• Utilize your expertise in serial interfaces (I2C, SPI, UART, etc.) and version control tools (Git & SVN) to enhance the functionality and efficiency of the embedded systems.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technological advancements to contribute to continuous improvement and innovation within the team.

Requirements:

• Degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or other relevant disciplines.
• Minimum of 2 years of industry experience in embedded software and hardware development.
• Proficiency in C programming language.
• Strong knowledge of microcontroller software and circuit design.
• Experience with unit testing and writing well-structured code.
• Familiarity with serial interfaces (I2C, SPI, UART, etc.) and version control tools (Git & SVN).
• Understanding of analog and digital electronics design.
• Prior experience in schematic and PCB design using CADStar is desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
