Location: Onsite in Bristol 3 -5 Days per week

Europe’s most successful Integrated Defence Company is currently on the lookout for Embedded Software Engineers to join its renowned Software Delivery Team based in Bristol.

The business has rich heritage in the design and manufacture of Defence Systems across the UK’s Army, Navy and Air force in addition to being a world leader in developing the next generation of missiles which are vital to maintaining National Security and protecting Armed Forces in active service.

Your role:

This is a great role for a Software Engineer with a passion for Embedded software solutions and its successful deployment into modern weapon systems, which you’ll be developing using (C and/or C++).

Essential Embedded Software EngineerExperience:

• Development of Embedded Software with C and/or C++.
• Real Time Operating Systems (Highly Desirable)
• Model-Based Development - UML tools; IBM’s Rhapsody or Matlab/Simulink.
• Deploying software on real-time Operating Systems and ARM-based processing platforms.
• Firmware and Electronics Design.
• Knowledge of modern software development practices and standards; DefStan 00-55 & DO178B/C
• Restricted coding standards knowledge; MISRA would be advantageous.

• Flexible working hours so you can start earlier and leave earlier if you wish to.

Benefits Package:

· Base Salary: £45,000 - £65,000

· Pension can rise to 14% (6% Employee and 8%)
