Devon Print Group Ltd t/a UltiPrint is looking for embroiderer/production operator to work as a part of their friendly embroidery/printing team in a busy fast paced environment.
This will suit applicants that take pride in producing high quality work, and have an interest in embroidery. Experience in working with textiles and any type embroidery or sewing machine required but not essential.
The individual will contribute to the operating of the machines and will be involved in all aspects of quality control. Running, setting up and maintaining the multi-head Embroidery Machines. The main tasks are embroidering the companys logos and designs onto different materials and clothing designs.
We are looking for full time candidate but can consider part-time position if available to work Monday-Friday.
Candidates hourly pay will be reviewed after successfully completing probation period.
Responsibilities:
-Setting up and running Multi-head Embroidery Machines
-Maintenance of equipment including replacing needles, cleaning and oiling.
-Setting machines for correct running order and thread colours.
-Framing garments ready for embroidery
-Checking jobs sheets for required logos, sizes and positioning.
-Checking stock against job sheets.
-Select the appropriate tools and materials for each job
-Responsible for checking and correcting items
-Cleaning and packing of garments once embroidered.
-The chosen candidates will be required, once trained, to operate equipment to satisfy any customer order.
-Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
-Keep work room / area tidy and clear of obstructions
-The ideal candidate will be punctual, reliable, have great attention to detail which is essential
-Performs other related duties as required.
Requirements:
- Have the desire to improve performance
- Previous experience with embriodery/sewing machines is preffered
- Have high organisational skills to complete orders in the given timeframe.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
