EMEA Midweight Copywriter

THE GIG


The centre point for copy in the EMEA region with a real focus on digital – responsible for crafting and upholding the brand TOV across all channels. The EMEA Midweight Copywriter will help drive content across the region by contributing to the ideation process of all digital editorial content and campaigns. They will be responsible for communicating wider brand messages, and above all, ensuring the DM’s story is told in the best way in each territory and across all owned and operated digital channels including but not limited to email, social media, onsite and digital advertising.


THE STUFF THAT SETS YOU APART

  • Creating a variety of digital copy for homepages, landing pages, emails, performance marketing and more
  • Work closely and collaboratively with the digital channel leads to make amends to published copy based on performance
  • Providing creative support and a copy perspective to content ideations
  • Agile working to generate ideas for A/B tests as well as providing varied copy to support the objectives and KPIs of tests
  • Supporting Retail and Wholesale Marketing teams with copy when needed
  • Providing creative copy support for regionalising global brand campaigns
  • Managing the translation process in 9 languages; ensuring on-brand transcreation across all regions
  • Hosting tone of voice training sessions for translators and wider teams
  • Facilitating translation workshops for global marketing campaign transcreation
  • Supporting the Digital Production Manager with quarterly business reviews with translators
  • Ad hoc copy support – for customer service emails, internal comms, on-site development projects and more.


YOUR FUNDAMENTAL QUALITIES

  • 4+ years’ experience in a full-time copywriting role
  • A love of music, DM’s, fashion and footwear
  • A track record of managing tight deadlines and multiple projects simultaneously
  • A passion for language and a flair for writing original, unexpected copy
  • Strong commercial awareness and knowledge of key copy KPIs
  • Enthusiasm and an inexhaustible and innovative supply of ideas
  • Experience tackling all forms of copywriting
  • A degree-level qualification in a relevant subject such as English or Creative Writing
