EMEA Tax Director (6 month FTC)

An EMEA Tax Director is required for a 6 month role with a listed manufacturing organisation whilst the business look to recruit permanently.

Responsibilities include overseeing all direct tax affairs across the EMEA region, encompassing tax compliance, reporting, risk management, planning, and advisory services.

Reporting directly into the Head of Tax, you'll also have 1 direct report.

Key Responsibilities:

* Tax Compliance and Audit: Supervising tax compliance, optimising defence strategies in tax audits, and ensuring transparent communication of tax issues to senior stakeholders.
* Tax Accounting and Reporting: Reviewing tax reporting and forecasting, understanding the Group's effective tax rate and cash tax position, and advising on legislative changes.
* Tax Risk Management: Identifying, documenting, monitoring, and mitigating key tax risks within the EMEA region.
* Tax Business Support: Providing tax advice on business queries and initiatives.
* Tax Strategy: Overseeing regional tax planning, advising on M&A projects, and collaborating on cross-border initiatives.
* Indirect Tax: Providing ad-hoc support on indirect tax matters to local Finance teams.
