We are looking for an Emerging Talent Manager to lead on attraction and end to end recruitment of the next generation of talent across the organisation.

You will:

  • Shape and deliver the Emerging Talent attraction strategy and use a variety of sourcing tools to attract and recruit the best talent for Skanska’s Emerging Talent vacancies with clear focus on social value and growing diversity in applications and hires.
  • Use your experience and initiative to design advertising campaigns and develop partnerships with recruitment marketing organisations, educational establishments, social enterprises, and other relevant partners.
  • Design and deliver ‘Experience Skanska’ programmes e.g. careers insight days, work experience and T-level placements to inspire young people.
  • Lead the full recruitment lifecycle from forecasting, advertising, shortlisting, assessment centre design and facilitation through to offer and onboarding. You will m anage circa 70 vacancies per recruitment cycle - a mix of apprentice, graduate, intern and T-level placement roles across multiple disciplines e.g. Civil Engineering, Environment, Quantity Surveying, Mechanical and Electrical, Data & Digital Technology Solutions.
  • Implement assessment strategies to ensure best practice (fair, transparent, accessible, and fit for purpose) selection approach and process.
  • Proactively update and involve all key stakeholders.
  • Provide support to the wider Emerging Talent team with organising and delivering development and networking events.
  • Evaluate the process, outcomes and inputs and proactive approach to continual improvement, in line with Skanska business plan and wider sector and target audience benchmarks.

We are looking for:

  • Previous recruitment experience
  • Strong motivation to work with young people
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple vacancies, stakeholders and high volumes of applications.
  • The ability to effectively plan and manage your workload.
  • Clear communication style and confidence to professionally represent Skanska.
  • The ability to make sound decisions based on values, recruitment best practice and relevant legislation.
  • The ability to use digital platforms and social media for effective employer branding and attraction.
  • Competent to work with Microsoft Office, specialist software systems and application tracking systems.
