ER Business Partner | £75K | Office Based | London | Private Equity
As an experienced and dynamic Employee Relations Business Partner, you will be a crucial resource for all employee-related matters. Your role involves providing expert advice, guidance, and solutions to ensure a positive and productive work environment. Additionally, you will shape and review people policies, aligning them with the company's purpose, objectives, legal requirements, and best practices.
What you'll need
- Experience in medium to large business: we are looking for someone who has worked in a business with at least 500 employees. Ideally, you should have experience in a global context, but being UK-based is acceptable.
- Expertise in Employee Relations (ER): Their ideal partner should be an ER expert, well-versed in all aspects of Employee Relations. This includes handling complex ER cases, managing workplace disputes, and ensuring compliance with employment laws.
- Private Sector Background: they prefer candidates from the private sector, especially those with experience in private equity-backed businesses or other large corporate-style companies. Their familiarity with the dynamics of private enterprises will be valuable.
- Longevity and Stability: A candidate with a consistent track record and longevity in roles is essential.
- Tribunal Experience: Given the complexities of ER, we need someone who has dealt with UK employment tribunals. Up-to-date knowledge of UK legal proceedings and best practices is crucial.
- On-Site Commitment: The role requires on-site presence 5 days a week, with no remote work option currently. This ensures active engagement and collaboration.No Direct Reports: While there are no direct reports in this role, your ability to work independently and contribute effectively is vital.
