Job description

Reed HR are working with an established logistics company who are seeking a temporary Employee Relations Specialist to join their vibrant team. Contract duration: 3 months. Hybrid working. Flexible working arrangements in a supportive environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a range of Employee Relations issues, providing expert advice and support to ensure fair and consistent application of policies and procedures. This role requires a proactive individual who can effectively balance employee needs with business objectives. The Employee Relations Specialist will Provide advice and guidance on a range of Employee Relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, absence management, and performance issues. Support line managers in handling complex case work and ensuring legal compliance. Develop and maintain productive relationships with key stakeholders to promote employee well-being and engagement. Conduct investigations and prepare case documentation for disciplinary and grievance hearings. Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures. Deliver training sessions to managers on Employee Relations topics and best practices. Keep up to date on current employment legislation and ensure all HR practices are compliant. The successful Employee Relations Specialist will have Proven experience in an Employee Relations or HR Advisory role. Strong knowledge of employment law and best practices in Employee Relations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle sensitive situations diplomatically. Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload with tight deadlines. Experience in conducting investigations and managing complex ER cases. CIPD qualification or equivalent is desirable.
