Employer Engagement Officer

We are looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Employer Engagement Officer to join #TeamMoulton to support students to source work placements, Industry placements & potential Apprenticeship vacancies for students within allocated Curriculum areas.

Your duties will include;

1. To act as the primary point of contact for new and existing employers as well as other external stakeholders.
2. To proactively generate and bring to fruition, new business development opportunities that support our employer partners and achieve strategic growth objectives for the College.
3. Proactively contact new employer clients to introduce the College offer through effective cold calling and other marketing activities.
4. Provide expert and professional account management for existing clients by understanding their requirements and identifying opportunities for promoting additional products.
5. Use intelligent questioning techniques to quickly understand the client requirement and design solutions that draw on the full range of the portfolio and best meets the needs of each client.
6. Provide expert advice and guidance to employer clients on all products including Apprenticeships, AEB, Distance Learning, Commercial and any other schemes or services that may be in place at the time.

We are looking for candidates that are able to effectively deal with enquiries from employers, colleagues, parents and students.

• Do you have experience of liaising with a range of stakeholders?
• Are you committed to enhancing the career opportunities for our young people?
• Do you have an Information, Advice and Guidance qualification at Level 3 or be willing to works towards this?
• Do you have a full, clean driving license?
• Are you confident in your ability to provide accurate and consistent guidance to employers, students, parents and colleagues?

The ability to quickly build rapport with our learners and a positive, professional relationship with internal and external stakeholders will be key to excelling in this role.
