We're looking for an Employer & Partnerships Officer to join our Jobs and Training Team at Clarion Futures.

What you'll be doing

We'll look to you to Identify, secure and implement sustainable employment and training opportunities for Clarion residents and our customers by developing long-term employer partnerships. You'll work closely with Clarion Futures Social Value team to ensure opportunities are shared with Employment Advisers and promoted to their caseloads. You'll also conduct regular account management activities to develop and nurture a strong portfolio of high quality, innovative strategic partnerships, operating within current growth labour market sectors.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships and good working relationships with key stakeholders, external partners and other relevant organisations such as Local Authorities, Housing Associations, Employer Networks and Clarion Social Value partners and Supply Chain Contractors to maximise employment opportunities.
  • Work closely with Clarion internal teams including Clarion Response, Development, Regeneration and Tenancy Sustainment to source and scope internal job roles.
  • Develop knowledge and understanding of emerging labour markets, growth sectors and current skills gaps to help inform our Jobs & Training Strategy, ensuring we remain current in a changing economic landscape.
  • Set up clear "Account Management" systems with Employers to agree recruitment process including feedback mechanisms, evidence collection and in work support plan for customers placed into work.
  • Work alongside Employment Support Officers to help them understand Employer requirements.
  • Develop screening and matching processes to support Employment Support Officers to fulfil Employer led courses and vacancies requirements.

Who we're looking for

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience and expertise in the Employment & Training sector gained as well as experience of sourcing vacancies and opportunities through employers and key stakeholders. You'll need experience of building long term business relationships in an account management environment with the ability to research and understand emerging trends in the employment and training sector.

With excellent communication skills, both oral and written you'll be able to work with a wide variety of audiences and have the ability to adapt to the changing needs of the customers and the service in a changing economic landscape.
