Employment Advisor

Would you like to work for a charity supporting people who need an extra hand back into employment?
This charity is based in Hounslow (its an office based role).  And you will work with a caseload of job seekers referred across from the job centre who need additional help and support.  You will see a number of participants per day in 121 support sessions.  A typical session could include:

• Better off calculations.
• Checking in on their job search and where they might need support.
• Helping clients to put together CV, cover letters and preparing for interviews.
• Coordinating interviews and helping plan journey routes / access funding for transport.
• Signposting to other organisations that can support clients such as food banks or educational providers.

Experienced people welcome to apply also if you have previously worked as a job coach, Employment Advisor or careers advisor etc.
The charity is nice to work for.  The manager is great (we have placed lots of people over the years with great feedback).  Please note this role is offered initially as a 12 month contract (but its hopeful this will extend at least another 12 months).
