Endoscopy JAG Compliance Co-Ordinator

Responsibility of JAG Accreditation To provide information to the Endoscopy Operational compliance manager in relation to the JAG requirements. To adhere to the monitoring structure to ensure that all JAG requirements are achieved within an appropriate time frame. Undertake the required monthly and 6 monthly audits. Collate activity statistics Escalate any issues to the Endoscopy Operational compliance manager Communications/customer care To respond to email, telephone and written enquiries using a high level of initiative and responding in a confidential manner and action in the appropriate way. Develop and maintain effective communication skills and channels, both internally and externally to the Trust to ensure a high quality of service is provided. To develop and maintain key working relationships within the MDT. Operational Responsibilities Adhere to Endoscopy administration policies and procedures Capture compliments and lessons learnt are shared to encourage best practice. To organise and participate in regular/ad-hoc team and business meetings. This will involve arranging the venue, equipment and catering, and taking/distributing minutes when required. To assist in the implementation of projects that assist with delivering the strategic objectives of the Endoscopy Unit. Pathway Supervision Maintain an overview of cancellations and utilisation for Endoscopy rooms To collate information for Endoscopy Capacity and Demand and report findings to the Endoscopy audit and compliance assistant, To help maintain clear overview of the surveillance position, ensuring patients are validated and booked within target date and any issues communicated to the respective Consultants Performance Manage own workload under the direction of the Endoscopy Operational compliance manager Work well within a team and under own initiative Understanding complex IT packages i.e. HICSS.
