Decontaminated scopes suitable for product release to internal or external user
We are seeking a dynamic flexible individual to work in our busy decontamination department within our Endoscopy units at Imperial Collage Healthcare NHS Trust
You will be responsible in the full duties of a decontamination technician in this specialist area responsible for all flexible endoscopes, in accordance with the Trust and National decontamination policies.
Failure to carry out the above task efficiently may result in cancelled procedures, patient injury or death & may result in multi-million pound legal costs to the Trust as a result of negligence actions.
Working hours are between 08:00 and 20:00, Monday to Friday.
Full time 37.5 hours per week (9.5 hour shifts over 4 days per week).

• To be aware & follow Quality Management work instructions
• To be aware & follow complex manufacturers’ instructions for reprocessing
• Planning & Organisation
• To promote a safe working environment & carry out risk assessments
• To act on the results of customer satisfaction surveys to improve levels of satisfaction.
