Energy Advice Officer

Please note this job is based travelling around the Northwest region so you will require a full UK drivers licence.

We are very aware of the importance of providing Energy Advice to our customers, to both help them save money, and to promote energy efficiency in the move to a more sustainable future.
We are now recruiting for an Energy Advice Officer to help us achieve these aims, and are looking for enthusiastic, customer-focussed individual who is able to take hold of this brand-new role and really make it their own.
Working across the North West you will work with our client, The Guinness Partnership, and their customers to alleviate fuel poverty and hardship by home visits.
You will offer practical help with fuel switches and reducing energy bills through correct appliance use.
Specific Roles and Responsibilities:
Telephone support along with Home visits to support customers with fuel switching, correct use of heating systems and fuel poverty assessments.
Support with accessing available internal and external funding.
Work with several teams across Guinness with accessing available funding for customers and on behalf of Guinness.
Support in collecting customer energy data to help Guinness understand how they can support their customers with the type of system to be installed and to understand any benefits this job role may offer customers.
Collation and examination of information on savings from fuel switches and Energy Advice to understand the impact this job role is having on fuel poverty and tenancy sustainability.
Attendance to Guinness s office 1 day per week to review work completed
Supporting projects with the heating and hot water team where applicable.

All training will be provided around supplying Energy Advice and boiler A background in customer service would be a benefit this role as you will be working face to face with customers on a regular basis.
