Energy Efficiency Officer
G08 £32,076 - £34,834 per annum
The role is funded via Welsh Government – Optimised Retrofit Funding until March 2025 with the possibility of extension dependent on securing further grant funding.
The Energy Efficiency Officer role is a new position within the Housing and Asset Department. We are looking for a talented and self-motivated individual with experience and a genuine interest in energy management, environment sustainability initiatives and renewable technology.
The role will support the Asset Investment Manager in developing Target Energy Pathways for the council housing stock, as part of the Welsh Housing Quality Standard 2023.
The post will be required to collect, analyse, evaluate and monitor energy performance data across various housing systems and provide information and advice to contract holders and other teams across the department.
You will be a good communicator, well organised, and have excellent written, numerical and analytical skills plus good IT skills.
