This Company are a market leading energy consultancy and support services, offer a wide range of services to businesses looking to reduce their energy costs and the amount of wasted energy. They operate across the UK, US and Europe working with multi-site and commercial clients. Due to their continued growth they are now looking for an Energy Trader to join their office in Cheltenham.
This role will involve studying the energy markets, looking at daily prices when they come in and make the decision if and when to trade, challenging and justifying purchasing decisions to the client.
The ideal candidate will have experience as an Energy Trader, working on a trader desk for an energy company, supplier or competitor. It is also important the candidate has a strong interest and understanding of the UK energy markets as well as a strong understanding and experience with excel. The ideal candidate will also
The Role:

• Studying energy markets
• Challenging and justifying purchasing decisions
• Making the decision if and when to trade

The Candidate:

• Experienced Energy Trader
• Experience working on trader desk for energy company, supplier or competitor
• Feel confident to challenge and justify purchasing decisions to customers.
• Strong understanding and interest in the UK energy market
