THE FIRM

A recognisable brand in the Infrastructure & Energy space, with a long and distinguished record of operating as a leading European Lender are building out their Advisory presence. Following a strong year, they are now looking to add a Senior Associate to their growing Energy Advisory team.


THE ROLE

You will be based in London and support two senior team members, with all associated work streams across Global Advisory transactions. Your key responsibilities will include:


  • Managing the end-to-end execution of transactions, including ownership of deliverables
  • Supporting origination activities, maintain and strengthen relationships with external parties- clients, potential clients, lenders, due diligence advisors
  • Participation in marketing efforts and preparation of pitches/presentation materials (both internal and external)
  • Communication with clients on transaction aspects
  • Oversight and contribution to the preparation and finalisation of financial model and related analyses (base case optimisation, sensitivities, valuations, model audit)
  • Assistance in preparation of deal materials (e.g. information memoranda, info for sponsor and lender approvals)
  • Assistance in document review and negotiations
  • Liaison and coordination with external advisors for due diligence completion
  • Leading market research and monitoring/updating of deal pipeline


THE CANDIDATE

To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to have the following experience:


  • 6 years' experience in debt advisory (particularly project finance and acquisition finance) and/or M&A advisory
  • Candidates from investment banks, advisory firms, commercial banks and from the sponsor/developer side will be prioritised for this hire
  • Excellent financial modelling skills in Excel with a good foundation of building (and working with) project finance and valuation models
  • Ability to demonstrate experience of and a strong interest in working in Renewable Energies market
