We are seeking to recruit an Enforcement Officer within our Residential and Environmental Protection Team. Reporting to the Service Manager you will be a subject matter expert and pivotal in delivering a quality service. You will need to have a relevant professional qualification and/or demonstrable relevant experience and knowledge.
You will have a proven track record of achievement in problem solving, achieving compliance and customer satisfaction and excellent people management and communication skills.
Key Duties, Responsibilities and Accountabilities
The role may require work across the range of Enforcement and Safety functions but the focus of the post will be Environmental Protection and Private Sector Housing including;
Effective and consistent resolution of Environmental Protection and Housing case work
Responding to planning consultations on a range of environmental considerations including noise, air quality and contaminated land
Housing inspections including HMOs and caravan sites.
