We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for an Engagement and Events Intern to be a vital part of our dynamic Marketing Communications team at East Anglian Air Ambulance (EAAA). East Anglian Air Ambulance is a regional charity that provides life-saving care across Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Suffolk and beyond. What you'll do:
As an integral member of the Marketing Communications team, you will collaborate closely with the Engagement and Awareness Lead to design and deliver event experiences that leave a lasting impression. You will bring your creativity to the forefront as you support the promotion and marketing of our events and awareness campaigns. Your contributions will play a pivotal role in increasing supporter engagement, building knowledge about the charity, and enhancing attendee numbers.

You will collaborate with our dedicated Volunteering team to recruit and brief volunteers, providing necessary training on new initiatives to empower our volunteers for success and ensure a seamless event experience.

You will also play a key role in evaluating the outcomes of our Engagement and awareness activities, contributing to the establishment of future KPIs. Additionally, you will work alongside the Engagement and Awareness Lead to shape our events offer and identify new engagement opportunities through audience research and relationship-building.

You will have good communication and presentation skills and be confident interacting on the telephone and face to face with a diverse range of people.

You will hold a full, manual, UK driving licence and, due to the nature of the events, you will need to have a flexible approach to occasionally support out of hours work, including weekends. Time off in lieu is offered for additional hours worked.

Why join us:

  • Gain hands-on experience in event planning and execution.
  • Contribute to meaningful and impactful projects that make a difference.
  • Work in a collaborative and supportive team environment where everyone can develop.

If you are a motivated individual with a passion for creating positive change, we invite you to apply for this role.
