Job Title: Engagement Coordinator

Length of Contract: 12 months (potential extension subject to funding)
Number of hours per week: 15 hours per week
Salary: £9,976 (£24,940 FTE)
Purpose of the job:
Engage with local communities (including underrepresented groups) throughout the Clywedog Valley, through a variety of events, consultation sessions, school workshops and online engagement to capture their views and interests linked to local nature and heritage.
This role entails delivering activities as part of the National Lottery Heritage Funded-development year for the partnership Clywedog Valley project, working up to the submission of a stage 2 delivery phase application in 2025.
The Clywedog Valley is a nine-mile valley running from the Clwydian Range and Dee Valley AONB in the west of Wrexham, through to King’s Mill in Wrexham town centre. It encompasses several sites of heritage importance, both built and natural.
This post will report to the Community Project Manager and be part of the team based in our Wrexham office.
