We have an exciting opportunity for an Engagement Planning Manager to join our global Marketing Team. This role expertly contributes to marketing business planning and outcomes within the global email engagement and automation marketing strategy, delivering on corporate priorities, business opportunities and customer need. With a focus on driving engagement throughout the marketing funnel and user journeys, the Engagement Planning Manager will create and demonstrate best practice, developing high-impact campaigns that drive user engagement and support core business goals.
What you will be doing:
- Driving best practice engagement campaigns / plans that support core marketing strategies
- Gathering and interpreting requirements, interrogating and using data to drive optimisation efforts
- Building segmentation strategies that enable us to better know who are customers are and understand their needs to provide a more personalised experience
- Identify opportunities to optimise user engagement and encourage next best action to drive customer goal completion in line with business goals, increasing the lifetime value of users
- Ensure that plans are put into action, delivered and deployed in an iterative and agile way
- Be responsible for articulating clear campaign success criteria / targets, report on performance and analyse results to enable and inform a continual improvement loop, proactively putting recommendations forward to senior management
- Proactively identify opportunities where automation could improve internal efficiencies and reduce manual tasks
- Support wider engagement activities that enable us to better know, understand and put the customer first (market research, customer surveys, competitor analysis etc.)
- Contribute to driving a culture of high-performance and continuous improvement
- Lead, performance manage and develop direct reports, fostering a culture of high-level performance, motivation, quality, efficiency and innovation in the team helping to encourage new ideas and constructive feedback
- Effectively coach employees to deliver on commercial objectives and personal development goals
- Effectively cascade business critical news and information and connect business goals to the individuals on your team
- Act as an advocate for direct reports and the team in general, influencing upwards to Senior Management where required; and ensuring direct reports and team understand Senior Management business objectives and goals
