Job Description: They are currently seeking a qualified Safety Inspector to join their team in Coventry. The ideal candidate will possess either an HNC or HND in Mechanical Engineering. The primary responsibility of the Safety Inspector will be to conduct statutory inspections required by law, with a specific focus on Excavators and Diggers. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in identifying and addressing safety issues to ensure the safe operation of equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform statutory inspections on Excavators and Diggers in accordance with legal requirements.
- Identify and report safety issues, recommending corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with clients to address safety concerns and provide expert advice.
- Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation.
- Stay current with industry regulations and best practices.
Qualifications:
- HNC or HND in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on safety.
Experience:
- Previous experience in safety inspections, particularly with Excavators and Diggers, is advantageous.
- Familiarity with industry regulations and standards.
Salary Range: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum
