Our client is an award winning, well-established engineering company with a global reputation for excellence. Due to continued growth, they have a brand-new role for Engineering Compliance, NPD Manager.

Reporting to the Head of Operations the Engineering Compliance & NPD Manager will be responsible for ownership and management of Engineering Compliance within new product development.

Overview

Responsible for ensuring all products, bespoke projects and NPD programmes are delivered and documented in line with the required compliance, safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

• Managing and implementing all Engineering Compliance requirements and documentation for a variety of orders and projects
• Managing and supporting the team with functional and safety testing requirements for various products and capital projects
• Managing and delivering all new product developments in line with the predefined safety, quality, cost and time constraints
• Developing and maintaining compliance, testing and sign off documentation
• Working closely with the wider business to ensure all project documentation and certification is completed
• Ensuring all component and service certifications are readily available and stored centrally
• Development and progression of new processes, documentation and ways of working

Professional Skills required from the Engineering Compliance & NPD Manager

• Experience working in Engineering Compliance essential
• Proficient in product safety requirements and submissions
• Experience in country specific certification requirements (CE, UKCA, IEC, CSA, CCC, etc. ideal)
• Experience with ROHS, REACH, CA Prop 65 and other environmental compliance regulations ideal
• Excellent organisational skills
• Excellent team working skills
