The Engineering Content Creator Apprentice will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks in the Marketing department. This position will cover all aspects of written content creation, including PR, blogs, website, and technical content. This will also involve elements of research into current news/affairs and trending topics surrounding engineering and manufacturing today.
Job Responsibilities:
Writing, reviewing, editing, and updating content for company websites, blogs, marketing materials, and similar platforms.
Help produce content for social media, interviews, events, and podcasts.
Create "open-worthy" emails to targeted customer lists, working with salesforce marketing cloud.
Conduct research to learn more about current trends, developments, and perceptions about subject matters relevant to igus. Topics include but not limited to 3D printing, robotics, cable management and industry 4.0.
Receive basic content from Germany and update this to better fit the UK market.
Assisting the marketing team with content for upcoming campaigns.
Working alongside SEO specialists to best optimise all content.
Create slogans and catchy text for adverts and event promotion.
Skills Required:
- An interest in engineering is preferred but not essential.
Excellent written, proof-reading and editing skills.
