Vacancy: Engineering Delivery Lead
Location: Royston, UK

As the Engineering Delivery Lead, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and continuous improvement of our engineering team. Your primary purpose will be to strategically plan and prioritize maintenance activities, manage small capex projects, lead downtime planning meetings, and coordinate planned outages.
By leveraging your technical expertise and leadership skills, you will contribute to the seamless operation of our facilities, minimize unplanned downtime, and drive the successful delivery of engineering projects.

Your responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies to ensure optimal performance and reliability of engineering systems and equipment.
  • Prioritize maintenance tasks based on criticality, resource availability, and business impact.
  • Maintenance of, and reporting of progress against, the department’s improvement tracker.
  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of small capital projects, from conception to completion. Ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
  • Develop, coordinate, and execute planned outage schedules and resource plans, taking into account equipment availability and critical production timelines. Mitigate risks and troubleshoot issues that may arise during planned outages to minimize downtime.
Requirements for the role:
  • Detail-orientated with experience within a Chemical, Manufacturing or Oil & Gas environment.
  • Experience planning and delivering capital projects.
  • Experience planning and prioritising maintenance activities and shutdowns.
  • Experience working with safe systems of work including RAMS, PTW, isolations and management of change.
  • Good understanding of Environmental, Health and Safety issues in a Chemical/COMAH site (Desirable)
