Responsibilities and duties
Reporting to the Plant Manager you will:
- Managing, training, and developing a team of multi skilled engineers and technicians responsible for maintaining all plant equipment to the highest of standards to ensure maximum availability.
- Liaising with the Plant Manager and site engineers for the purpose of plant improvement / modification / upgrade work
- Acting as the Appointed Person E&M on site and carrying out the associated tasks.
- Planning and managing plant outages.
- Implementing a new CMMS system
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
- Supervisory or management experience in a Maintenance/Engineering in a heavy process environment. This can include EFW, biomass, CCGT, refinery, steel works, paper mill etc
- A degree in relevant engineering discipline
- Fundamental knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical engineering compliance and legislation. ATEX, DSEAR etc.
- And IOSH/NEBOSH or similar safety qualification would be desirable
