Location: Grassington (BD23)
Salary: £50,000 per annum
48 hour working week over 5 days, this could include a Saturday.
Must be flexible to cover the hours between 07:00 and 19:00
This role is a permanent role.
Total Recruit are recruiting an Engineering Maintenance Manager to join the team of a well established processing dairy with sites in Keighley and Grassington, Yorkshire. The business currently produces and distributes milk, along with other associated dairy products, throughout Yorkshire and the surrounding area. The main purpose of this role will be the management of the maintenance department and it’s team of staff, whilst also working on day to day duties within the department.
Duties and Skills Required:
- Manage and lead all maintenance operations, processes and the engineering team in line with company procedures.
- Managing equipment to meet all current legislation keeping all relevant records up to date.
- Create, implement, improve and manage maintenance procedures. (Factory and Farm) alongside providing the most cost-effective solutions.
- Manage, oversee and develop the maintenance schedule.
- Fault find malfunctioning equipment to route cause, repair or arrange and oversee repair.
- Plan and manage installation activities.
- Manage all engineering suppliers / service providers.
- Liaise with relevant management to ensure efficient and safe operation of the site.
- Attend management meetings and take the lead in the Engineering department reporting.
- Ability to plan workload effectively and be flexible to cope with changing circumstances.
- A conscientious and disciplined individual.
- Previous experience within an engineering background is essential.
