Engineering Maintenance Planner

Engineering Planner / Scheduler with ERP / SAP experience required in north Birmingham.

36 hours Mon-Thurs – 8.30am – 4.30pm – Fri 8.30am-4.15pm (45-minute unpaid meal break). Great salary, benefits and prospects.

The Maintenance / Engineering Planner will work in the Engineering Department to deliver maintenance work order scheduling, provide accurate bills of materials ( BOM ) and resource planning for the Engineering Maintenance department. Candidates need knowledge of engineering components (e.g. bearings, gears, tools etc).

Assist with the planning and organising of the site maintenance planning in respect of providing a cost effective, reliability centred, predictive and preventative maintenance work order system.

Coordination of the agreed maintenance plans for the future weeks
Creation and updating of site wide scheduled maintenance activities
Appropriate and timely scheduling
Creation and use of Bills of Materials (BOMs) including the allocation of parts and materials to planned maintenance tasks
Production work order generation and management.

This role will suit an experience planner / scheduler, or may suit an engineering technician or maintenance person, looking to move into scheduling, ideally with experience of using SAP and an appreciation of engineering components and support services.

Person Requirements;.

SAP / ERP Systems
Understanding of BOMs
Read & understand technical drawings and manuals
Engineering parts
ONC/HNC or equivalent
