Job Description
As Engineering Manager you will report into the Operations Director with responsibility for the maintenance & project engineering teams. With a talented team of engineers, you will lead a high performance culture targeting site capacities and continuous improvement. Other responsibilities will include:
- Strategic leadership, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Developing the engineering team and driving succession opportunities.
- Leading the development of engineering systems supporting growth plans.
- Collaborating with other department heads to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
- Fostering a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and safety within the department.
- Managing departmental budget and resources.
- Ensuring company's compliance with industry regulations and standards.
The Successful Applicant
The successful Engineering Manager will have a range of the following:
- An educational background in engineering, preferably degree
- Proven experience in strategic leadership and team management.
- A strong comprehension of continuous improvement and reliability led engineering
- Exceptional project management skills.
- Strong understanding of industry regulations and health and safety standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
