Engineering Manager (Design)

Manufacturing Futures are currently looking to appoint an experienced Engineering Manager with a strong hand in R&D, Engineering and Projects for a large manufacturer. Liaising with the management team, the successful Engineering Manager will be expected to get involved in all aspects of projects from conception to completion. A well-rounded Engineering Manager will be very successful within this role. Engineering Manager - Role and Responsibilities - Engineering Manager, Design and Development Manager, R&D Manager, Design Manager
- Heading up the design department as the key manager of projects, developments and designs
- Liaising with the production, sales and project department to ensure a smooth running of the design
- Identify and implement design improvements alongside the customers needs
- Oversee NPI and NPD to keep with trends within the market
Engineering Manager - Skills and Abilities - Engineering Manager, Design and Development Manager, R&D Manager, Design Manager
- Experience working for a business with on-site production in a fast paced, bespoke industry
- Experience as a Manager working with R&D, projects and liaising with management
- Hands on Manager that doesn't faze away from getting stuck into tasks at the best of their ability
- Project management experience is highly beneficial
- The ability to manage and deliver multiple complex projects at the same time
- Team player, motivated and good time keeping skills are all attributes the successful Engineering Manager needs
