Vickerstock are proudly working in partnership with our client, one of the world's largest food and ingredients manufacturers/suppliers, to recruit 2 Engineering Managers for their site in Coleraine.
This role would be well suited to a driven and passionate individual with extensive experience of managing and overseeing Engineering activities within a busy Manufacturing facility.
Duties will include
- Leading a team of skilled and experienced Engineers, overseeing all Engineering activities across the site.
- Being accountable for monitoring KPI's and identifying areas of improvement.
- Overall responsibility for Planned Preventative Maintenance program across the site.
- Ensuring that the Maintenance team adheres to strict Health & Safety/Environmental guidelines and comply with all relevant legislation.
- Keeping up to date with industry trends and identifying potential technological upgrades to maximise site Engineering capabilities.
- Managing the Engineering department budget.
What will you need?
- Third level Engineering qualification or higher.
- Extensive experience of leading and overseeing teams of Engineers within a busy production environment.
- Strong working knowledge of Electrical & Mechanical Maintenance.
- Ability to work well under pressure and make tough and well-informed decisions.
- Good IT skills are essential.
