SalaryThe Successful Engineering Manager/ Head of Engineering/ Engineering Operations Manager will be office based near Crawley responsible for providing effective and unified leadership for the Design and Purchasing departments and their respective functions.
The Engineering Manager/ Head of Engineering/ Engineering Operations Manager will ideally have previous experience managing various engineering departments such as operations, and/or production, purchasing or similar, preferably with a formal qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
Package
- Up to £55,000 (Dependent on experience)

- Responsible for providing effective and unified leadership for the Design and Purchasing departments and their respective functions.
- Engage with air filtration customers and suppliers on technical project delivery details, and support the design process by securing customer approval for designs, manufacturing, and engineering considerations
- Collaborate with the sales teams to recognise and support forecasting and demand requirements.
- Ensure team deadlines are met and communicate any issues to stakeholders including solutions put in place
- Offer both the air filtration sales and design teams’ advice and guidance on mechanical engineering
- Liaise with various engineering departments
Engineering Manager/ Head of Engineering/ Engineering Operations Manager Requirements
- Previous experience as an Engineer Manager, Head of Engineering, Engineering Lead, Engineering Director, Technical Manager, Engineering Supervisor, Technical Director, Branch Manager, General Manager, or similar within Engineering
- A technical Mechanical Engineering qualification would be desirable
- Previous experience working with CAD software
- Experience within a similar managerial role in Engineering, preferably within Mechanical Engineering and/or manufacturing
- Experience managing various departments such as operations, production, purchasing or similar
- Commutable to the office near Crawley
