For this reason, we are looking for an Engineering Production Operative to join our growing Team.

Job overview: The Production Operative is part of the team responsible for running the gas atomisers on site and manufacturing metal powders.

Main responsibilities and duties

• Working with the Production Manager and Production Supervisor to fulfil production orders for powders.
• Assisting in the handling of goods inwards and goods outwards
• Assisting in the blending and sieving operations of the powders
• Work on a lathe and milling machine as required.
• Carrying out Planned Maintenance
• Maintaining a clean, organised workspace and promote safe practices.

Required knowledge and skills.

• Experience within engineering /manufacturing operating environment
• Pro–active mind–set with the ability to work autonomously where required

Desired (optional) experience

• Fork–lift (Counterbalance) licence
