At Caterpillar Desford, part of Building Construction Products within the Construction Industries Division, we have a great opportunity for an individual to take a lead role in the current product Compact Wheel Loader (CWL) space. If you're looking for a role where your skills, knowledge and experience will have a direct impact on the quality, velocity, and cost of world-class products, this could be it.

What You Will Do:

• Develop project scope to address business challenges and opportunities.
• Act as a first point of contact if questions or queries arise in connection with current products and help drive solutions as a Subject Matter Expert
• Coordinate resources across sales and marketing, product development groups, value chain and manufacturing. 
• Oversee, and participate, in project execution. Manage cost, communicate status with stakeholders and participating functional areas; addressing and resolve problems as they arise.

What You Will Have:

• Completed studies in Design Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Excellent technical and influencing skills.
• Leadership attributes which will make it easier for you to communicate and indirectly lead people within your team and across supporting functions.
• Ability to define and control projects from requirements and scope, through times when you may encounter technical challenges in design and development, right through to production implementation.
• Aptitude towards transforming data from various sourcing to business intelligence.
• Willingness and ability to manage multiple priorities with an appreciation of how the products we design, develop and manufacture serve our customers.
• Continuous learning mindset - presented openness to new ideas and alternative solutions.
• Exceptional communication skills to aid you to better understand and cooperate with the teams.

What We Offer:

• Salary range: £52,000 - £65,000 annual
